Job Title: Project Executive – Multifamily Construction

Location: Columbus, OH (Relocation Assistance Available)

Compensation: Up to $175,000 base salary + Performance Bonuses

About the Role

We are urgently seeking an experienced Project Executive with a strong background in multifamily construction and rehab projects to lead our project teams. Based in Columbus, OH, this critical leadership role involves driving construction management operations and overseeing multiple scattered projects, ideally on a nationwide scale. You will manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, and within budget while maximizing profitability. As the primary executive point of contact, you will handle contract negotiation, team mentorship, and customer relations.

What You’ll Do

  • Executive Project Leadership: Direct assigned multifamily and rehab construction projects, managing budgets, schedules, and contract negotiations to ensure profitable, on-time completion.
  • National Portfolio Management: Oversee and coordinate multiple scattered projects simultaneously across various locations.
  • Team Mentorship: Directly supervise, mentor, and support Project Managers, fostering a high-performance team culture and assisting with hiring and training.
  • Client & Vendor Relations: Serve as the primary point person for resolving project bottlenecks, managing stakeholder communications, and maintaining exceptional client relationships.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure company policies, safety standards, and construction procedures are consistently upheld across all job sites.
  • Business Development: Support strategic sales and marketing efforts to win new business and grow customer accounts.

What You Bring

  • Specialized Experience: Proven track record as a Project Executive, Senior Project Manager, or similar leadership role with direct experience in multifamily construction (market rate, affordable, or senior living experience is highly beneficial).
  • Rehab Expertise: Demonstrated experience successfully managing rehab construction projects.
  • Multi-Site Management: Experience managing multiple scattered projects, ideally on a nationwide basis.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (OR an equivalent combination of 2–4 years of industry experience and training).
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel) and project management software, with Prolog preferred. Strong working knowledge of construction scheduling techniques, such as Primavera or SureTrack, is a plus.
  • Leadership & Communication: Exceptional problem-solving abilities, strong financial acumen, and the leadership presence to present effectively to executives, clients, and project teams.
