What they’re looking for:
•Associate’s degree in applicable field or equivalent HR experience.
•Minimum of two years HR or closely related experience.
•Looking for someone with specific benefits experience. Not looking for someone with general experience. •Needs someone baseline benefits knowledge (regulations, plan administration, helping employees navigate benefit plans, etc).
•Strong PC skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc) and Windows operating system, with prior experience in HRIS systems.
•Ability to effectively verbalize and write in order to explain or describe moderately complex information and strong attention to detail.
•Ability to comprehend, interpret and apply complex material such as regulatory standards, summary plan documents, compensation policy, employment regulations, etc.
Position will be required to be on-site five days a week.
Hours and compensation potential:
•Full time position. Monday-Friday(730am to 4pm or 8am to 430pm). Person is required to be on-site five days a week.
•The range is between $22.13hr-$30.46hr depending on experience.
•Full benefits package including(Medical, Dental, Life, PTO) and relocation assistance.
What you’ll be doing:
•Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefit questions and issue resolution
•Present detailed benefits information during weekly new employee orientation sessions
•Administer employee benefit plans, including enrollments, changes, and terminations across medical, dental, vision, life, and retirement programs
•Process and reconcile benefit premiums, invoices, and payroll deductions to ensure accuracy
•Manage COBRA administration and leave-of-absence (LOA) benefit billing and follow-up
•Audit benefit data and reports to identify discrepancies and maintain accurate records
•Support open enrollment, onboarding education sessions, and ongoing employee communications
Position will be required to be on-site five days a week.
May facilitate employee benefits including enrollment, new hire processing, employee education, etc. and maintains positive relationship with third party administrators.
Other HR duties could be required as well.
