Requirements:
- Seeking Applications / Product Engineer with MIM (metal injection molding) or powder metals experience. Design skills and customer interface experience.
Position Summary:
As a member of the Advanced Technology Engineering Team, this position promotes growth of the Company by strategically planning and executing the design, development and promotion of new products, applications, and markets. This position also provides support to the Commercial Sales Team for revenue growth and the Product Launch Team for effective and successful production approval processes and the successful introduction of new products into manufacturing by functioning as a key technical resource.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
1. Develops engineering quotations for manufacturing new products including raw material requirements, operation steps and rates, outside operational costs, tooling, fixtures and gauging cost, and capital requirements and cost.
2. Recommend design changes for customer’s components to ensure manufacturability by DSB’s MIM technology. Including, developing marked prints and/or modifications to CAD solid model files.
3. Lead the manufacturing and delivery of all engineering and proto-type samples.
4. Lead technical/engineering discussions with customers. Represent customers in technical/engineering discussions with internal teams.
5. Lead APQP team through Gate 1 and participate in APQP through Gate 5.
