Job Description
An established Wholesale Manufacturer in NYC is looking to fill a couple Design position working with modern/contermporary women's apparel. One person would work with primarily soft woven apparel with an emphasis on novelty details - Linen/cotton, items with embellishments, embroidery, cut outs, etc. The other Designer would work with both all wovens including tailored and soft wovens - blazers, pants, skirts, etc. as well as soft woven blouses. These products will primarily sell to off-price customers.
Job Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience designing women's woven apparel
- Must have excellent sketching ability - Proficient with Illustrator
- Must be a team player that works well with others - Interacting with sales, production, tech, etc.
- Must be detail-oriented and have superior organization skills.
- Must be willing to go into the office 5 days/week.
