This opportunity offers a premier career upgrade for a talented machining professional who is tired of working in dark, oily, sweltering shops with erratic overtime schedules that disrupt weekend plans. Operating as an established, fast-growing manufacturing partner, this facility specializes in producing ultra-precise components for high-consequence Aerospace, Military, and Defense sectors. Because production focuses on critical hardware where failure is not an option, the company aggressively invests in maintaining an exceptionally clean, well-lit, and fully climate-controlled facility operating under a strict continuous improvement mindset.

This position is built around a collaborative, zero-politics shop culture that genuinely values craftsmanship and long-term retention. Technicians here are not stuck running a single part forever; the shop provides structured, skills-based cross-training and clear internal promotion paths to continuously expand your technical portfolio. Whether choosing the traditional first-shift schedule or securing the ultimate work-life balance with a 4-day second shift, individual expertise is recognized, supported, and rewarded within an environment where the average team tenure reflects true organizational loyalty.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Perform complete machine setups and accurately operate automated multi-axis CNC milling and turning centers to exacting aerospace specifications.
  • Utilize a comprehensive variety of precision gauging and inspection instruments (micrometers, calipers, height gauges) to ensure 100% quality compliance on tight-tolerance production runs.
  • Manage tool page offsets, monitor tool wear, and adjust settings to maintain demanding tolerances while optimizing machine cycle times.
  • Investigate, diagnose, and troubleshoot minor program-related issues or mechanical faults directly at the controller to sustain high floor efficiency.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining a highly organized, safe, and 5S-compliant workspace.

  • Inspection capability with complete comfort selecting and utilizing proper precision measurement tools to independently verify first-piece and in-process parts.
  • Professional stability backed by a reliable, steady work history that demonstrates strong attendance, high reliability, and a safety-first manufacturing mindset.
  • Local proximity and permanent residency established within a comfortable 45-minute daily commute of the facility.
