We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Labor & Employment Associate Attorney to join a prestigious law firm's New York office. This role presents an excellent opportunity to work within a renowned legal practice known for its dedication to delivering exceptional legal services across various industries.

Location: New York, NY

Salary: $310,000 - $390,000

Practice Area: Traditional Labor & Employment Litigation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advocate for employers in federal and state courts, as well as before administrative bodies, addressing claims such as discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour disputes.
  • Provide expert strategic advice to clients on a multitude of workplace challenges, including terminations, leave policies, and adherence to federal, state, and local labor laws.
  • Draft and negotiate various employment-related agreements, including employment contracts, separation agreements, and restrictive covenants.
  • Conduct thorough internal investigations and audits to ensure clients meet regulatory compliance standards.

Qualifications:

  • J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the New York State Bar.
  • Five to eight years of specialized experience in labor and employment law, ideally within a national law firm environment.
  • Outstanding academic record, with proven abilities in writing, analysis, and interpersonal communication.
  • Capacity to collaborate effectively in a high-pressure environment and juggle multiple assignments efficiently.
