Transactional Associate Attorney (HOA and Real Estate)
Pay: $105,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year

Location: Lakewood, Colorado. This is an on-site role for the first year to support training and collaboration, with hybrid potential after about 1 year based on performance and business needs.
Note: Must be licensed to practice law in Colorado and have 5+ years of progressively responsible transactional and/or litigation experience in real estate, nonprofit/corporate governance, and contract review.

Job Description
- Review and analyze governing documents, statutes, case law, contracts, insurance policies, and real estate documents
- Draft and revise contracts, opinion letters, governing documents, rules, easement agreements, and licenses
- Provide clear written and verbal guidance to clients, including practical recommendations and risk analysis
- Conduct legal research using available resources and legal research platforms
- Lead and support negotiations to resolve matters efficiently and professionally
- Communicate regularly with clients by phone, email, and written correspondence to provide updates and next steps
- Attend board and annual meetings as appropriate, including occasional evening meetings
- Support marketing and business development efforts, including participation in client education programs
- Stay organized, capture time accurately, and manage multiple priorities with consistent follow-through
Qualifications
- Active Colorado bar license, in good standing
- 5+ years of progressively responsible transactional and/or litigation experience
- Experience across real estate, nonprofit or corporate governance, contract review, and related advisory work
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate legal complexity into clear client guidance
- Excellent communication skills with non-lawyer audiences (boards and management)
- Strong writing, attention to detail, and professional judgment
- Comfortable managing competing deadlines and capturing time consistently
- Proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, and legal research tools (case management and billing software a plus)
