HVAC Branch Service Manager

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Operations leader to oversee daily branch service operations within a large commercial HVAC and building services environment.
This role is responsible for managing day-to-day service business operations, supporting field service teams, driving operational performance, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction while meeting financial and business objectives.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing service operations, dispatching, scheduling, customer support processes, and branch-level business performance within the HVAC or building services industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the local HVAC service business
- Drive execution of established service business processes to ensure operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and financial performance
- Work closely with Service Managers, dispatch teams, and Customer Service Representatives to support all lines of service business operations
- Support forecasting, operational analysis, scheduling, and workflow management to ensure branch financial objectives are achieved
- Directly supervise branch service support personnel responsible for:
- Account management support
- Asset management
- Invoicing
- Service order processing
- File and documentation management
- Administrative service support functions
- Coach and support branch service teams through implementation of operational best practices and service management applications
- Serve as a subject matter expert for branch service processes, systems, and operational workflows
- Ensure proper training, communication, accountability, and reinforcement of service procedures and operational standards
- Maintain service delivery standards that support long-term profitable growth and strong customer relationships
- Support customer satisfaction initiatives, branch business planning, and service account management activities
- Assist with implementation and execution of operational strategies across the service organization
Required Background
- Minimum 5+ years of experience managing service operations, service dispatching, scheduling, or branch service support functions
- Strong background within the HVAC, mechanical services, building services, or related service industry environment
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, tasks, and operational issues simultaneously
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Experience working independently while supporting fast-paced operational environments
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with both internal teams and external customers
- Experience supporting financial forecasting, operational analysis, project costing, or service accounting functions
- Ability to prioritize activities based on operational and financial impact to business objectives
- Demonstrated ability to positively influence cross-functional teams and drive operational improvements

Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary ranging approximately from $100K–$170K DOE
