Role Overview
As a Shipping Superintendent, you will lead our logistics and warehouse operations, ensuring that all products meet quality standards and are delivered efficiently. You will be responsible for fostering a safe, high-morale work environment while maintaining strict compliance with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities

Operational Excellence: Oversee all aspects of shipping and inventory control to meet or exceed internal and external customer requirements.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all operations strictly adhere to USDA/HACCP guidelines and maintain accurate, timely documentation.

Safety Leadership: Promote a culture of safety by following state and federal standards, taking immediate action to mitigate hazards or improper practices.

Team Development: Provide a positive, people-oriented environment designed to build morale and improve team performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience: 2–3 years of experience in a packinghouse or similar food processing environment.

Leadership: Proven supervisory experience specifically within shipping and inventory management.

Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills; must be fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking). Bilingual proficiency is a significant advantage.

Technical Proficiency: Competent in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with SAP is preferred.

Education: High School Diploma or GED required; a Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
Working Conditions

Environment: Ability to work in cold temperatures, loud environments, and on slick floors.

Physical Demands: Position requires frequent walking and climbing stairs.

Schedule: Typically 50–55 hours per week (Monday–Friday), with occasional Saturday work as needed.
