Engineering Account Executive Automation Staffing Sales Executive

About the Role

We are seeking a driven Engineering Account Executive to support growth within the Automation sectors. This role is ideal for a consultative sales professional who understands complex engineering environments and can deliver tailored workforce and project-based solutions.

You will work closely with engineering leaders to address critical business challenges through a combination of statement of work (SOW) solutions and flexible staffing models, including contract, contract-to-hire, and direct placement.


Key Responsibilities

  • Drive business development efforts within the Automation engineering verticals
  • Identify and engage prospective clients, while expanding relationships within existing accounts
  • Conduct discovery meetings with engineering and operational leaders to understand workforce needs and growth initiatives
  • Develop and present customized solutions, including project-based (SOW) engagements and staffing services
  • Leverage industry insights, data, and market trends to position value-driven solutions
  • Build long-term partnerships with key stakeholders, including executives, engineering directors, and hiring managers
  • Collaborate with internal recruiting and delivery teams to ensure successful execution of client engagements
  • Manage sales pipeline, forecast revenue, and consistently meet or exceed performance targets
  • Maintain a high level of accountability, professionalism, and teamwork

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (not required)
  • 2+ years of B2B sales experience in engineering services, staffing, or workforce solutions
  • Experience supporting Automation engineering clients strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to sell in a consultative, solution-oriented environment
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated success in building and maintaining client relationships
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset and strong business acumen
