TITLE: International Sales Manager

POSITION PURPOSE:
Reporting to the Executive Director of Sales, the International Sales Manager oversees all export activities from initial sale through final delivery to the destination country. This role also manages By-Products and Processor items, ensuring proper routing, documentation, pricing, and coordination of fresh offal production and inventories. Occasional international travel is required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Set competitive and profitable sales pricing for beef products and authorize purchase agreements with outside agents.
• Collaborate with overseas sales agents to coordinate logistics.
• Partner with accounting, billing, and traffic teams to ensure smooth processes.
• Engage with international trade organizations as needed.
• Communicate daily with overseas agents and importers.
• Lead the International, By-Products, Hides, and Trim Sales teams.
• Work closely with Retail and Food Service Sales Managers to identify the most effective channels for available inventory.
• Maintain consistent communication with export agents and customers.
• Negotiate sales with agents and importers.
• Coordinate shipping volume and requirements with internal shipping and warehouse personnel.
• Work with accounting to confirm appropriate payment terms and accuracy.
• Oversee frozen inventories and the availability of chilled products.
• Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure inventory items are shipped as ordered.
• Coordinate with processing teams to ensure completion of chilled air orders.
• Partner with hide processing teams as needed.
• Manage inventories proactively and offer items as they become available.
• Provide pricing updates and weekly product availability.
• Demonstrate strong attendance through consistent and punctual work habits.
• Perform additional related duties as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• At least 6 years of experience in the beef industry
• International sales experience
• Strong understanding of beef and pork products
• Proficiency in Word and Excel
• Full knowledge of FSIS export requirements
• A college degree is helpful, but not required
