Whether they’re working alongside creatives to grow portfolios, interfacing with the United States Patent and Trademark Office or negotiating settlements, they put their deep knowledge of intellectual property law to work for their client’s success.

Their intellectual property team is looking for a Patent Associate with 2-6 years of experience for the firm’s Denver office. Qualified candidates will have a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software or Computer Science and be admitted to the USPTO (or be eligible to take the Patent Bar). Prior non-legal work experience with consumer electronics, software, including web-based services, full-stack development, generative AI, machine learning, data structures, data storage, and databases, is preferred but not necessary. Excellent academic performance, strong writing and analytical skills, verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a team environment are required.

Compensation: In accordance with applicable law, the following represents the range of possible compensation for this role. Salary will range between $220,000 and $305,000, depending on experience.

Associates are also eligible to receive an hours-based bonus.
