Environmental Specialist (Plant Level)

Assist the plant Environmental Manager with environmental program implementation and develop an understanding of regulatory requirements with a focus on waste and water (this position will report directly to the site Environmental Manager and be a member of the plant environmental department).  Position will be the primary employee to manage environmental data into the data tracking software for the heavy manufacturing facility.    

Responsibilities Include:

• Prepare and submit water & waste related compliance reports.
• Conduct water & waste quality assessments and ensure compliance with all applicable federal, NJ, and local regulations
• Liaise with regulatory agencies and represent the company during inspections and audits
• Monitor changes in water quality regulations and update company policies accordingly
• Provide training and guidance to site staff on water and waste compliance and best management practices
