Industrial Hygienist - Occupational Health

A growing occupational health clinic located at a satellite site in Albany, NY is seeking an Industrial Hygienist to support employer clients with workplace health and safety needs. This role blends fieldwork at employer sites with collaboration alongside the clinical team.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct workplace exposure assessments, including noise, air quality, chemical, and ergonomic evaluations

• Perform site visits at employer locations to identify hazards and recommend controls

• Support OSHA compliance programs, including hearing conservation, respiratory protection, and hazard communication

• Interpret sampling and monitoring data and prepare clear reports for employer clients

• Collaborate with providers and case managers on cases involving workplace exposure

• Advise employers on PPE selection and workplace safety program development

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in industrial hygiene, occupational health and safety, or a related field required; CIH a plus

• Experience conducting workplace exposure assessments and OSHA compliance work.

• Comfortable traveling to employer sites and communicating findings to non technical audiences

• Strong report writing and data interpretation skills

• Valid driver's license required for site visits

Compensation:

• Market rate in the Albany, NY area runs approximately $75,000 to $100,000 per year, with CIH certification and more senior experience commanding the higher end of that range, sometimes above $105,000.

Schedule and Location:

• Full time, based at a satellite location in Albany, NY with regular travel to employer sites.
