Position Overview

This role focuses on deriving software design and performance requirements from complex user needs and implementing scalable, high-performance solutions.

Core Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements to define system performance standards
• Design and code new software features
• Modify existing applications for performance improvement
• Integrate applications into modified operating environments
• Develop complex database queries and interfaces
• Lead development teams within secure lifecycle frameworks
• Ensure quality control across development deliverables

Advanced Technical Requirements

• 20 years of SWE experience in programs of similar scope
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• Big Data technologies (HBase, Accumulo, Hadoop, Hive, Pig)
• HDFS experience
• MapReduce programming model
• JSON/BSON serialization
