A leading manufacturer of advanced cutting and forming equipment is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to grow business across the Upper Midwest (ND, SD, NE, MN, IA, WI). This role focuses on capital equipment sales, customer engagement, and technical expertise within metal fabrication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive regional press brake sales and execute territory strategy
  • Conduct live equipment demos and present technical capabilities
  • Develop new accounts and expand existing customer relationships
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to close
  • Maintain an organized CRM pipeline and monitor market activity
  • Provide technical support and application guidance
  • Represent the company at trade shows and customer events

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in press brake or capital machinery sales
  • Strong understanding of metal forming equipment, tooling, and fabrication processes
  • Proven success meeting sales targets in industrial markets
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to explain technical concepts
  • Self‑driven, organized, and effective working independently across a multi‑state territory
