Hospice Area Sales Manager - New Mexico

Territory: Albuquerque and Las Cruces, New Mexico

Hospice sales leadership, local market knowledge, job stability, team development and proven census growth are must-haves.

Target Candidate

·     Experienced hospice sales leader with a strong track record managing community liaisons, hospice sales representatives, or referral-development teams.

·     Must understand hospice service sales, referral-source development, census growth, account management, field coaching and sales team accountability.

·     Looking for a hands-on leader who can partner with local operations and sales leadership to execute market and portfolio sales strategies.

·     Must be willing to spend significant time in assigned markets supporting teams, accounts and growth initiatives.

Responsibilities

·     Lead day-to-day field sales activity for hospice community liaisons across the assigned New Mexico markets.

·     Coach, train and support sales staff around target accounts, referral activity, account management and census growth.

·     Track sales activity, visit frequency, referral trends and key performance metrics.

·     Partner with operations and regional sales leadership on sales strategy, market execution and program growth.

·     Assist with recruiting, onboarding and developing new or growth-related liaison / sales positions.

·     Monitor market trends, competition and referral-source opportunities.

Qualifications

·     Hospice sales leadership experience strongly preferred.

·     Minimum 4 years of healthcare sales / community liaison experience preferred; hospice experience strongly preferred.

·     Minimum 2 years of sales management experience required.

·     Demonstrated understanding of hospice regulations.

·     Proven success growing local or regional patient census.

·     Ability to manage field sales accountability, sales metrics and team development.

·     Strong local market knowledge in Albuquerque and/or Las Cruces preferred.

·     Stable work history with proven, verifiable performance.

·     Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and current auto insurance required.

Experience

·     Minimum 4 years of healthcare sales/community liaison experience and 2 or more years of sales management experience required / strongly preferred as outlined above.
