Seeking a CNC Mastercam Programmer, who has a solid background in precision machining. We are seeking an individual who is responsible, who thrives in a team environment and is seeking longevity in a workplace. Must be versatile and work with very little supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

Develops CNC programs for various types of machines

Establishes appropriate machining methods and tool sequences.

Conducts machine cycle time studies

Work with the quality department and machine operators to ensure quality parts

Select the type cutting tools to use along with the speeds and feeds

Program complex parts from a blueprint

Assisting machinists with set up, part issues, inspection, etc.

Create tool sheets and set up instructions with each CNC Program

Recommends necessary work holding and tooling

Assists in the evaluation and development of manufacturing processes by studying product requirements and researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment

Assists machine operators with process or tooling issues, recommending necessary work holding and tooling used in manufacturing.

Analyzes and solves process and tool-related problems, ensuring or increasing productivity.

Knowledge, skill, experience, and minimum education required:

Minimum of 10+ years of CNC machining

Software programming using Mastercam

Ability to use measuring instruments (gauges, micrometers, calipers)

Ability to read and interpret blueprints

Ability to read and understand G&M programming codes

A solid understanding of CAD

Knowledgeable in GD&T
