Our Client Company, a well-established global manufacturing organization known for innovation, quality, and operational excellence, is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to join its manufacturing operation in Johnson City, Tennessee.

What You’ll Do
As the Senior Quality Engineer, you’ll play a key leadership role in improving product quality, supporting manufacturing operations, and driving continuous improvement initiatives throughout the facility.
Your responsibilities will include:
· Lead and mentor the Quality Engineering and Quality Technician team.
· Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, SPC, and statistical analysis.
· Investigate quality issues utilizing Root Cause Analysis, 8D, 5 Why, and corrective/preventive action methodologies.
· Support manufacturing by identifying opportunities to reduce defects and improve process capability.
· Partner with suppliers to improve supplier quality and resolve production issues.
· Manage supplier PPAP approvals and supplier quality initiatives.
· Lead ISO 9001 quality system compliance and internal quality initiatives.
· Analyze manufacturing and supplier data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
· Develop quality metrics and present findings to leadership.
· Support new product launches and manufacturing process improvements.
· Coach and develop quality personnel while helping build a culture of operational excellence.
Qualifications
We’re looking for professionals who have:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
· 5+ years of Quality Engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.
· Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
· Strong background in:
o Statistical Process Control (SPC)
o Six Sigma methodologies
o Root Cause Analysis
o 8D Problem Solving
o PPAP
o Supplier Quality
o ISO 9001
· Experience using Minitab, Excel, and other quality analysis tools.
· Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
· ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
· Certified Supplier Quality Professional (CSQP)
· Certified Quality Auditor (CQA)
· Master’s Degree in Engineering
· Experience with GD&T, tolerance analysis, and mistake-proofing (Poka-Yoke)
