This role is best suited for hands-on operators with previous experience working in grain facilities, grain terminals, pulse processing, or similar agricultural bulk-material environments.

Plant Operator – Key Details

Plant Operator – Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production and processing equipment including conveyors, elevators, dryers, cleaners, and related systems
• Adjust grain flow through various processing stages to maintain efficiency and product quality
• Receive incoming raw materials and complete required documentation
• Load finished product onto trucks or railcars according to specifications
• Unload incoming materials and store them safely in designated areas
• Conduct quality checks to ensure product cleanliness and consistency
• Maintain accurate production, inventory, and maintenance records
• Complete daily production logs and follow all safety and operational procedures

Plant Operator – Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a grain facility, grain elevator, pulse processing plant, terminal, or similar agricultural processing environment is required
• Experience operating machinery and production equipment in an industrial plant setting
• Strong attention to safety, quality, and detail
• Ability to follow procedures, complete documentation, and work as part of a team
• Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance within agricultural or grain processing environments
• Technical aptitude with machinery, equipment, and computer-based reporting systems
• Forklift, skid steer, or loader experience is considered an asset
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability are strongly preferred
