Our client is seeking a Global Data Analyst to play a key role in shaping decision-making across their international operations. This role is well suited to a commercially driven analyst who understands how global sales, procurement, trading exposure, and operations connect, and who can convert complexity into practical, performance-driving recommendations.
Global Data Analyst –Details
- Permanent, full-time position based in Mississauga, ON
- On-Site role, Monday - Friday
- $115,000–$140,000, depending on experience
- Comprehensive benefits starting Day 1
- Employer RRSP match up to $750 per year
- Vacation: 3 weeks annually
- International travel required (approximately 20–30%)
Global Data Analyst –Responsibilities
- Analyze global sales, procurement, and trading position data to evaluate margins, performance, and risk exposure across regions.
- Design and maintain dashboards and analytical models tracking KPIs related to revenue, cost drivers, inventory, and operational efficiency.
- Provide data-driven insight and scenario analysis to support pricing strategy, sourcing decisions, and market entry initiatives.
- Partner with operations teams to assess process efficiency, logistics costs, and working capital utilization.
- Identify opportunities to improve global operating performance, reduce costs, and enhance decision-making through better use of data.
- Collaborate with research and innovation teams on forecasting, automation, and AI-driven analytics initiatives.
- Ensure analytical tools and models accurately reflect real-world commercial and operational conditions.
- Work cross-functionally and across regions, aligning stakeholders in multiple global jurisdictions.
- Support global initiatives through on-site engagement and international travel as required.
Global Data Analyst – Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related field; MBA considered an asset.
- 8–10 years of experience in data analysis within global operations, international trade, or multi-regional environments.
- Strong analytical, financial modeling, and data visualization capabilities.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with culturally diverse, geographically dispersed teams.
- Background in commodities, agriculture, or global trading environments.
- Exposure to advanced analytics, AI initiatives, or data science projects.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present insights to executive leadership.
- Commercially astute, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced global setting.
