Associate Product Consultant
KIT Recruitment has partnered with a leading North American manufacturer of premium kitchen and bathroom plumbing products to hire an Associate Product Consultant for their Oakville, Ontario facility.
This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused professional who enjoys helping people, solving product-related issues, and delivering a world-class service experience. This role is primarily phone-based, while also providing support to the on-site parts counter during breaks, lunches, vacations, and coverage needs.
To ensure success, all new hires receive extensive training including classroom learning and hands-on mentorship.
Associate Product Consultant – Details:
• Salary: $47,500 annually
• Location: Oakville, ON
• Schedule: Monday to Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• On-site: 100% in-office position

Associate Product Consultant – Responsibilities:
• Manage inbound calls from consumers regarding product, installation, troubleshooting, and warranty inquiries
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience that drives brand loyalty and positive word-of-mouth referrals
• Identify issues, determine root causes, and explain the best resolution clearly and professionally
• Use internal systems and technology to assist with product identification and service solutions
• Provide technical guidance for repairs, replacement parts, and installation support
• Handle challenging or sensitive customer situations professionally and work toward positive outcomes
• Meet daily service metrics including call quality, productivity, and adherence to procedures
• Maintain accurate records of customer details, products, and troubleshooting actions
• Provide coverage and support at the walk-up parts counter during scheduled absences or breaks
• Assist with additional duties and special projects as required
Associate Product Consultant - Qualifications
• High school diploma (Grade 12) or equivalent required
• Previous customer service or call centre experience preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Professional, patient, and solutions-oriented approach to customer interactions
• Comfortable working in a structured environment with phone-based responsibilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook
• SAP experience is an asset
• English/French bilingual skills are an asset
• Strong teamwork, adaptability, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work a consistent on-site Monday–Friday schedule
