Shipper Receiver
KIT Recruitment is partnering with an established food manufacturing company to recruit an experienced Shipper Receiver for their Etobicoke operation.
This hands-on role is responsible for picking, scanning, palletizing and preparing customer orders while safely operating material-handling equipment in a fast-paced chilled and frozen warehouse environment.

Shift Times: Shift 1: Tues–Fri: 4:00 p.m.–12:30 a.m. Sat: 10:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m. ; Shift 2: Mon–Fri: 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m.

Shipper Receiver – Responsibilities:

Pick, scan, stack, palletize and wrap customer orders accurately and efficiently.

Operate Dock Stocker forklifts and motorized Walkies to move and stage finished goods.

Verify products against shipping orders for correct quantities, product type and condition.

Inspect outgoing products to ensure quality and acceptable code dating.
-
Complete daily equipment inspections and follow all forklift and warehouse safety procedures.

Report inventory discrepancies, product damage and safety concerns.

Maintain a clean, safe and organized warehouse environment.

Work closely with Warehouse and Inventory teams to support daily shipping operations.

Follow all Health & Safety, Food Safety and GMP requirements.
Shipper Receiver – Qualifications:
-
Previous shipping, receiving and order-picking experience required.
-
Previous experience working within a food manufacturing environment is required; meat processing/manufacturing experience is strongly preferred.

Valid Dock Stocker forklift certification required.

Valid motorized Walkie certification required.
-
Experience working in chilled and frozen warehouse environments.
-
Comfortable working in temperatures as low as -18°C.

Ability to lift up to 23 kg / 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks.

Familiarity with shipping documentation, inventory processes and warehouse systems.

Strong attention to detail, organization and time-management skills.

Dependable, safety-focused and comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
