KIT Recruitment is currently working with this engaging and supportive Food Manufacturer in the London, Ontario area and we are actively looking for 3 candidates that have a desire to get into a supervisory, team lead role and take on more responsibilities. You will work in both Warehouse Team Lead and Warehouse Associate roles and the wage you receive depends on which role you are fulfilling. You will be responsible to provide coverage for scheduled and unscheduled absences.
Warehouse, Team Lead Details:
Schedule, you will be on one of the shifts below:
- Wednesday-Saturday, 2:30pm-1:00am
- Tuesday-Saturday, 11:30pm-8am
- Sunday-Thursday, 11:30pm-8am
Warehouse Team Lead, Relief Details:
- Pay Rate: Warehouse, Team Lead- probation $27.20- $30.22 after 70 shifts
- Warehouse Associate- probation $24.79- $27.55 after 70 shifts.

- Provide training and direction to warehouse team when Team Lead is off for up to 15 direct reports
- Staging /set up of packaging materials in respective packaging departments
- Picking and storing of raw materials
- Preparation of next day's receiving tickets
- Receiving of raw materials
- Locating products in the warehouse; use of forklift required
- Order selection and loading of trailers
- Housekeeping of the receiving and shipping areas
- Inventory cycle counts
- Working with power equipment, hi-reach forklifts and walkies
- Adherence to procedures, safety practices and policy
Warehouse Team Lead Relief Requirements:
- Must have a minimum of 2 years experience working in a FOOD Manufacturing facility in a production capacity
- Some past supervisory experience required
- Ability to pass drive test on Raymond or Crown Reach forklift a **MUST
- MUST have experience driving both Standup Reach and Counter Balance Ryder forklifts
- Minimum of a high school diploma
- Effective judgment, strong organizational skills, and ability to multi-task
- Leads the workforce by setting high standards for safety, punctuality, attendance, enthusiasm, work ethic, and personal effort
- Strong English communication and conflict resolution skills
- Proficient with computer applications comfortable learning new systems
- Forklift certification
- Comfortable working in cold temperatures (freezer and refrigeration)
- Focused on detail, accuracy and a strong mathematical aptitude
- Cooperative and works well with others, strong communicator
