Our client, a high-performing and growing manufacturing organization in North Mississauga, is looking for a Production Supervisor with a strong mechanical or process-driven mindset to join their leadership team.
 
This isn’t a clipboard role. It’s a floor-first leadership opportunity for someone who thrives in the action — where real production happens.
 
We’re seeking a technically sharp, hands-on leader with a background in Process Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent mechanical depth) who knows how to keep both people and equipment performing at their best. You’ll take ownership of daily production operations while actively troubleshooting issues, optimizing workflow, and driving process efficiency in real time.

Production Supervisor Details:

· Salary: $87K-$90K/yr
· + Bonus
· Schedule: Monday to Friday, two-week rotating shifts
· Full Benefits from Day 1
· 3% RRSP Matching
· 3 Weeks Vacation

Production Supervisor Responsibilities:

· Coordinate production floor activities to maintain consistent output and uphold safety practices.

· Ability to learn and master equipment within production ( troubleshoot/ startup)
· Monitor equipment operations and support preventive maintenance and data tracking initiatives.
· Ensure adherence to quality and compliance standards, including documentation accuracy.
· Support onboarding and training processes while maintaining key HR-related documentation.
· Foster a collaborative work environment and assist in resolving team-related concerns.
· Partner with cross-functional departments (e.g., maintenance, logistics, planning) to align goals.
· Contribute to performance monitoring efforts and suggest opportunities for process enhancement.

Production Supervisor Qualifications:

· 3-5 years of experience Food manufacturing preferred - preferred not required

· 2-3 Years experience as a Process or Mechanical Engineer within food manufacturing - preferred not required
· 2 Years Production Supervisor experience within food manufacturing 
· Hands on leader with basic troubleshooting who is mechanically engineered inclined 
· Working in a unionized environment - preferred not required
· Familiarity with regulatory standards such as GMP, HACCP, and workplace safety protocols.
· Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on team development.
· Experience using ADP, ERP platforms, and Microsoft Office suite.
· Strong analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
· Capable of working effectively in a high-paced, evolving environment.

A strong desire to learn and understand the company’s systems, machinery, and production processes is essential. Candidates must also demonstrate excellent supervisory skills, particularly in reporting, investigations, and effective employee interaction.
