KIT Recruitment is partnering with an established consumer packaged goods organization to hire an Associate Marketing Manager – Canada. This opportunity is well suited to a hands-on marketing professional who enjoys building brands, executing integrated campaigns, supporting product launches, and turning consumer and market insights into effective marketing initiatives.
Working closely with senior Marketing leadership and cross-functional teams, the successful candidate will support the execution of Canadian marketing strategies across multiple channels while contributing to continued brand and commercial growth.

Associate Marketing Manager – Responsibilities
- Manage annual and seasonal marketing calendars, ensuring campaigns, launches, promotions, and brand initiatives are delivered on schedule.
- Coordinate the development and execution of consumer-facing marketing programs across digital, retail, in-store, trade, and other relevant channels.
- Work with external agency and creative partners, managing briefs, timelines, feedback, revisions, and final deliverables.
- Ensure marketing materials and campaigns consistently reflect established brand positioning, messaging, and visual standards.
- Monitor consumer trends, competitive activity, category developments, and changing market dynamics.
- Support the planning and execution of new product introductions and other commercialization initiatives.
- Coordinate packaging and creative development projects, working with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure materials are completed accurately and on time.
- Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and other internal departments to support successful product launches and marketing initiatives.
- Monitor the performance of launches and marketing programs and identify relevant learnings for future initiatives.
- Develop sales and customer-facing marketing materials including presentations, product information, promotional materials, brand content, and other collateral.
- Partner with Sales and Commercial teams to ensure marketing materials effectively support customer conversations and business objectives.
- Coordinate point-of-sale materials and other marketing collateral, ensuring information remains current, accurate, and consistent with brand standards.
- Support e-commerce, retailer, and digital marketing initiatives as required.
- Use consumer, shopper, category, and market information to help inform marketing recommendations and business decisions.
- Support consumer research and market analysis initiatives in partnership with internal teams and external research partners.
- Track marketing expenditures, coordinate vendor invoices, maintain project records, and flag potential budget variances.
- Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously while proactively communicating timelines, progress, and potential risks.
Associate Marketing Manager – Qualifications
- 3–5 years of brand-side marketing experience within consumer packaged goods or a related consumer-facing industry.
- Demonstrated understanding of brand development, positioning, campaign execution, and in-market activation.
- Experience coordinating packaging, creative development, marketing materials, and external agency relationships.
- Understanding of the Canadian retail environment and how marketing supports commercial and customer objectives.
- Experience supporting new product launches or commercialization initiatives.
- Exposure to consumer, shopper, category, or syndicated market data is considered an asset.
- Experience supporting multiple sales channels or customer groups is considered an asset.
- Strong project-management skills with the ability to successfully manage multiple priorities and workstreams simultaneously.
- Commercially curious and consumer-focused, with an interest in understanding purchasing behaviour, category trends, and market opportunities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to develop content, brief external partners, and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders.
- Collaborative approach with the ability to build strong working relationships across Marketing, Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and external partners.
- Comfortable working within a lean, fast-paced environment where priorities may shift and initiative is valued.
- Strong attention to detail with a reliable, execution-focused approach.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel, and comfortable coordinating creative and digital marketing assets.
