We’re partnering with a well-established, unionized food manufacturing leader to hire an experienced Jr. Export Coordinator to support high-volume, regulated exports across North America and select international markets. This role is critical to keeping product moving across borders — where accuracy, compliance, and timing matter.
Jr. Export Coordinator – Role Details
- On-site - Monday to Friday
- Salary: $55,000 – $60,000 (based on experience)
- 5% annual bonus
- 3 weeks vacation
- Benefits from Day 1

Jr. Export Coordinator – Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate export shipments from order receipt through final delivery
- Manage daily export activity, processing 12-15 shipments per day
- Prepare and review export documentation for food products shipping internationally
- Complete CFIA export paperwork, certificates, and regulatory documentation
- Coordinate inspections and approvals with QA, warehouse, shipping, and CFIA
- Book transportation and manage truck shipments (approximately 90% truck freight)
- Prepare driver instructions, load documentation, and export packages
- Track shipments, monitor border crossings, and address issues proactively
- Maintain accurate export schedules and communicate changes internally
- Ensure compliance with international trade, food safety, and export regulations
- Maintain organized, audit-ready shipping and export records
- Support internal teams and customers with shipment-related inquiries
- Assist with continuous improvement of export and documentation processes
Jr. Export Coordinator – Qualifications
- 2+ years of export coordination experience exporting food grade products *preferred
- Proven international export experience (U.S., Europe, New Zealand) an asset
- Strong working knowledge of CFIA documentation and export processes *preferred
- Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume, deadline-driven workloads
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment
- ERP experience considered an asset (Microsoft Dynamics NAV or similar)
