The Office Manager will oversee daily office operations while supporting employees, executives, vendors, onboarding, travel, company events, and internal communications.

 

Office Manager Details

Office Manager Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily office operations, including supplies, equipment, mail, couriers, facilities, vendors, budgets, and workplace health and safety.
  • Act as the main contact for building management, landlords, contractors, and external service providers.
  • Maintain office policies, procedures, inventories, and an organized, fully functioning workplace.
  • Coordinate with outsourced IT providers regarding hardware, software, network issues, repairs, and replacements.
  • Set up and decommission employee workstations, equipment, accounts, software access, and credentials.
  • Troubleshoot basic technology issues and escalate more complex concerns to IT support.
  • Support HR with onboarding, orientation, welcome materials, employee records, directories, organizational charts, and interview logistics.
  • Plan company events, offsite meetings, celebrations, recognition programs, catering, contracts, budgets, and onsite logistics.
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel, including flights, accommodations, transportation, budgets, policy compliance, and last-minute changes.
  • Draft and distribute announcements, office updates, memos, newsletters, presentations, and other internal communications.
  • Maintain internal communication channels, including the company intranet and office bulletin boards.
  • Support executives and department leaders with calendars, meetings, agendas, minutes, action-item follow-up, expenses, and office budget tracking.

 

Office Manager Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years of experience in office management, administration, executive support, or a related role.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience supporting executives, employees, vendors, and external service providers.
  • Comfortable coordinating basic IT and technology needs.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
  • Familiarity with HRIS or ticketing systems a plus.
  • Strong judgment and discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Proactive, dependable, resourceful, and service-oriented.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
