KIT Recruitment continues to engage in a positive, fulfilling relationship with this well-known Food Manufacturer in the London, Ontario area and we are actively looking for Fulltime Mixing Operators. This will be a hybrid role where the selected candidate will operate as a production worker 70% of the time and as a mixing operator 30% of the time.
Mixing Operator, Relief Details:
*Schedule is provided 2 weeks in advance.
- A-Shift (start between 12am - 9:45am)(10 hour shifts, Scheduled 4 days a week between Monday-Saturday)
- B Shift (start between 10:30am-8:15pm) (10 hour shifts, scheduled 4 days a week between Monday-Saturday)
- Production Associate, $20.56/hr 70 shifts (probationary period) $22.84 after probation.
- Mixing Operator: $23.78/hr 70 shifts (probationary period) $26.42/hr after probation
- Additional +$0.75 shift premium for any hours worked between 7pm-5am.

Mixing Operator, Relief Responsibilities:
- Assemble part ingredients following formulas
- Following a recipe ensure the proper and correct mixing of ingredients in industrial blenders with a capacity up to 5000lbs
- Check finished product continually to ensure quality and accurate mixing of ingredients or blending
- Complete customer orders consisting of transferring materials from original containers by scooping into custom order sizes up to 50lbs
- Complete packaging, raw material requisitions/drum tags
- Adhere to all safety and lockout procedures and guidelines
- Record all necessary and requested information accurately
- Maintain the operation at a high sanitation level
- Relieve Mixers on other shifts as required
Mixing Operator, Relief Qualifications:
- Must be able to wear mandatory respiratory equipment (face must be clean shaven)
- Good attendance
- Ability to safely do heavy physical work, including, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50lbs repetitively
- Maintain good housekeeping practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to complete paperwork accurately and strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and take initiative to respond to changing priorities and fluctuating workloads with minimal supervision
