Senior Plant Operator / Plant Supervisor – Responsibilities
· Supervise daily operations including receiving, grading, storage, and shipping
· Monitor inventory and coordinate timely, accurate distribution
· Collaborate with logistics teams to manage shipment coordination
· Lead, train, and support staff including operators and maintenance team
· Provide coaching, performance feedback, and development opportunities
· Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement mindset
· Enforce safety protocols and maintain regulatory compliance
· Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions
· Manage preventive maintenance programs and ensure equipment uptime
· Optimize machinery performance to minimize downtime
· Work closely with QA teams to uphold product standards
· Develop and implement quality control procedures
· Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, farmers, and clients
· Ensure smooth transactions and proactive issue resolution
· Maintain accurate records and prepare production reports for leadership
Senior Plant Operator / Plant Supervisor – Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Business Management, or related field (preferred, not required)
· Proven experience in grain elevator, ag processing, or manufacturing environments
· Strong leadership and decision-making skills, with ability to motivate a team
· Familiarity with agricultural safety regulations and compliance requirements
· Proficiency with operational software and reporting tools
· Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
· Physically capable of handling grain-related tasks
· Resourceful, hands-on problem-solver with technical knowledge
