Our client, a North American premier supplier of high performing packaging solutions is hiring 2 dual ticketed Millwright/Electricians for their Brampton facility.

These roles will support and work in collaboration with production to ensure the proper functioning of equipment and installation.

Dual Ticketed Maintenance Tech Position Details

·        2 Positions Available – Shifts Available

·        Weekday Shift – M-F 7am -4 pm

·        Weekend Shift – Friday – Sunday 7 am – 7pm (Paid for 40hours)- Shift Premium 0.50

·        Pay Rate: $ 46 – 52/hour – depending on experience

·        Vacation: 2 Weeks

·        Comprehensive Benefits – After Probationary Period

Job Responsibilities

·        Ensure optimal performance of equipment. 

·        Respond to service calls quickly. 

·        Identify and diagnose breakdowns, irregularities, and failures. 

·        Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance. 

·        Participate in continuous improvement projects. 

·        Installation of electromechanical equipment. 

·        Perform safety improvements on equipment. 

·        Respect the standards of quality as well as health and safety at work

Job Qualifications

·        Valid Millwright 433A license; Electrician 442A (or licensed Electrician with Millwright experience) 

·        Minimum 2- 4 years experience

·        Experience in electrical troubleshooting and repairing 

·        Good troubleshooting knowledge. 

·        Pneumatics and hydraulics knowledge. 

·        Experience working on bag machines, extruders and or winders.

·        Able to read and understand machine drawings. 

·        Good physical condition. 

·        Autonomous, methodical, and efficient. 

·        Good communication skills. 

·        Flexibility to respond to emergency calls outside shift, if required. 

·        Ability to work independently as well as on a team to complete major projects. 

·       Successful candidates may be required to complete a criminal background check.
