Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual to fill the role of Regional Sales Director for our cutting-edge genetic testing products, including noninvasive prenatal testing, carrier screening, and miscarriage testing. This pivotal role involves steering sales strategies, fostering team excellence, and ensuring substantial revenue growth within a specified territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Champion the education and recruitment of Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in the OB-GYN medical field.
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of genetic testing technologies to effectively represent our offerings to healthcare professionals and institutions.
  • Design and implement strategic distribution plans for all assigned products.
  • Develop business plans that align with sales targets, resource allocation, and regional strategies.
  • Lead the recruitment, hiring, and training of sales professionals within the region.
  • Provide constructive coaching and performance feedback to enhance the capabilities of the sales team.
  • Engage actively in the field with sales representatives to offer mentorship and strategic guidance.
  • Utilize market insights to drive strategic initiatives and best practices across the region.
  • Optimize territory alignments to maximize investment returns.
  • Support the career progression of team members and offer leadership direction.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with internal stakeholders and key external partners.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is preferred.
  • Background in medical or biological sciences; experience in clinical diagnostics is advantageous.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in physician-focused sales within the diagnostic laboratory sector, preferably in genetic testing.
  • At least five years of successful sales management experience, ideally in the diagnostic laboratory space.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Proven track record in leading sales teams to expand markets and achieve rapid revenue growth.
  • Outstanding management and leadership capabilities.
  • Familiarity with the reproductive health market is a plus.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong coaching ability and openness to feedback.
  • High motivation, strategic thinking, and initiative.
  • Ability to navigate complex environments and solve problems effectively.
  • Focus on high performance and revenue achievement.
  • Proficiency in developing and executing strategic business plans.
  • Technological proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Gmail, and Salesforce.com.
