Warehouse Lead
Job Summary
The Warehouse Lead is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient inventory management, accurate order fulfillment, and a safe, organized work environment. This role provides hands-on leadership to warehouse staff, supports logistics coordination, and ensures compliance with company policies and safety standards.

Duties/Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, inventory control, and shipping

Lead, train, and support warehouse staff to ensure productivity and accuracy

Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate records using warehouse management systems

Oversee the receiving and inspection of incoming shipments for accuracy and quality

Ensure timely and accurate picking, packing, and shipping of orders

Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safety standards

Enforce company policies, procedures, and OSHA safety regulations

Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors

Coordinate with logistics, procurement, and operations teams to meet organizational needs

Assist with scheduling, task assignments, and performance monitoring of warehouse personnel
Required Skills/Abilities

Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics processes

Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

Ability to multitask and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
Education and Experience

Required: High School Diploma/GED

Required: Minimum 2 years of logistics warehouse experience

Required: Current/valid Forklift certification
- Required: ICS and NIMS compliant training (e.g. ICS: 100, 200, 300, 400, 700, 800)

Preferred: Experience in emergency management, disaster response, or large-scale logistics operations

Preferred: Familiarity with technical, legal, or medical terminology
Physical Requirements

Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs regularly

Warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures and conditions

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and reaching

This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, etc.

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends, as needed
