We're seeking a skilled Application Engineer to join a dedicated team focused on delivering innovative control system solutions. This role involves designing, implementing, and supporting custom control system solutions for customer projects, collaborating with sales, production, and contractors, and providing technical expertise on controls and electrical systems.

- Design and complete custom control system solutions for customer projects.
- Produce project-specific drawings and documentation for use by sales, production, customers, and contractors.
- Review and evaluate project specifications to ensure requirements are met.
- Create production documents using engineering systems, including Vantage and Control Link.
- Develop standard special builds for products frequently sold but not supported by product development.
- Communicate with specifiers, contractors, and end users to thoroughly assess project requirements.
- Provide technical guidance on the application of controls and electrical systems.
- Conduct field measurements, adjustments, and troubleshooting on installed projects.
- Provide basic electrical training to new sales and engineering team members and advanced controls training for engineers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and familiarity with Inventor.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills and motivational aptitude.
- Familiarity with control system solutions and applications a plus.
