As a Production Technician, you will support food production operations while developing proficiency in production processes, equipment operation, quality standards, sanitation procedures, and troubleshooting techniques. This entry-level role is designed to provide training and experience across multiple production areas, with opportunities to build technical knowledge and operational skills.

- Operate safely and appropriately in all work environments and situations.
- Learn and demonstrate an increasing understanding of food production processes and associated production systems.
- Participate in formal training, testing, sanitation activities, and performance evaluations.
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and production guidelines.
- Assist with food production processes, including product manufacturing, cutting, and packaging activities.
- Support production operations throughout multiple stages of the manufacturing process.
- Assist with equipment operation, basic equipment maintenance, and sanitation activities.
- Monitor product quality and ensure adherence to established specifications and procedures.
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
- Complete required paperwork and recordkeeping accurately and in a timely manner.
- Operate production equipment with a high level of precision and attention to established formulations and specifications.
- Support traceability requirements through accurate documentation and record retention.
- Complete Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) training and comply with all food safety, quality, and occupational safety requirements.
- Perform sanitation duties in accordance with SOPs and GMP standards.
- Participate in company-sponsored training and development programs.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization efforts.
- Assist with troubleshooting production and equipment issues as needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

- Computer literacy and basic computer skills required.

- Ability to follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and other quality standards.
- Experience in food manufacturing, food processing, food service, or other production environments is preferred.
Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- Demonstrated reading, writing, mathematics, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Valid driver's license required.
Work Environment:
- Food manufacturing and production facility environment.
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Requires standing and walking for extended periods, including shifts lasting 8+ hours.
- Must be willing to work various shifts, including weekends, as required.
- Must be available to respond to emergencies and after-hours communications when necessary.
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required depending on the work area.
