We're seeking a motivated Sales Representative! This role focuses on developing strong customer relationships, presenting solutions, and supporting project success through effective communication, planning, and follow-through.

- Develop strong communication networks and relationships with key contractors, specifiers, and end users in the marketplace.
- Assess customer lighting needs and determine which products and services best fit those needs.
- Present products and services in a variety of settings, using available tools such as sales presentations, meetings, field visits, and trade shows.
- Prepare budget estimates through the use of pricing tools.
- Identify key relationships and decision makers to maximize the company’s position on projects.
- Collaborate with team members to analyze projects from sales, business, and engineering perspectives.
- Negotiate prices and agreements, including credit terms and collections.
- Participate in field work, including measuring and assessing fields, confirming pole locations, assisting at installations, conducting night light tests, troubleshooting, and supporting warranty inspections.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project information and documentation in the sales database.
- Communicate regularly with the Regional Sales Coordinator to address territory needs and allocate resources.
- Participate in corporate meetings and conference calls as needed.
- Make business development calls to new and existing customers.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Business, Sales, Entrepreneurship, or a related field is preferred.
- A passion for selling and building trusting customer relationships.
- Self-discipline to work independently while collaborating with the team.
- A high level of motivation with a positive attitude, ownership mentality, and entrepreneurial spirit.
- Innovative problem-solving skills with a team-oriented approach.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present to groups.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, including coordinating meetings, customer visits, project deadlines, and internal communication.
- A strong technical aptitude with a desire to learn and educate others.
- Electrical experience and experience working with contractors are preferred.
- Comfort with significant travel, including evenings, overnights, and work outside normal business hours.
- Ability to use a personal vehicle for job-related travel within the assigned territory, with mileage reimbursed.
