As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and modifying production tooling and molds while ensuring all components meet strict engineering specifications.

Duties:
Including but not limited to:
  • Perform preventive and emergency maintenance on molds, including disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly.
  • Operate manual and CNC machinery to fabricate, repair, or modify machine and tooling components.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot tooling and equipment issues directly on the manufacturing floor to restore production quickly.
  • Read and interpret complex blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to ensure compliance with engineering specifications.
  • Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify parts meet tight tolerances.
  • Support production needs by ensuring tooling is properly maintained and production-ready.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve tooling and quality issues.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent plus vocational training or Tool & Die apprenticeship.
  • 3–5 years of experience in a machining or tool room environment.
  • Strong hands-on experience with CNC and manual machine operation.
  • Proficient understanding of G & M codes for CNC programming.
  • Basic CAD/CAM experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of advanced shop mathematics.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Experience using precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges).
  • Basic understanding of hydraulics, electronics, and pneumatic systems related to tooling.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
