This position is responsible for identifying and eliminating issues that limit product flow by applying lean principles to reduce process bottlenecks and work in progress (WIP). The role leads industrial engineering operators and technicians, provides direction, and develops team capability and performance while supporting a strong continuous improvement culture.

- Lead and implement site-wide lean activities including 5S, standard work, visual management, pace to takt, value stream mapping, Kaizen, and 8D to eliminate waste and improve productivity.
- Serve as a proactive change agent who supports the professional development of Leads, Supervisors, and Managers while driving a continuous improvement culture.
- Lead the standardization and optimization of manufacturing processes, sequences, layouts, and material flow.
- Drive and track continuous improvement initiatives across all functional areas, including manufacturing and office environments.
- Develop detailed plans, manage project performance, and ensure timely completion of improvement projects and savings goals.
- Design, develop, and plan equipment and machine layouts, workflows, and safety precautions to maximize utilization of plant and manufacturing facilities.
- Act as a key owner and stakeholder for equipment capital expenditures including design input, vendor selection, procurement, and implementation.
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager and Site Leadership Team to develop and execute a continuous improvement roadmap focused on best in class performance.
- Lead the creation and enhancement of capacity modeling, production planning tools, and time standards.
- Manage and provide direction to industrial engineering operators and technicians, supporting capability development and performance improvement.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
- Minimum of 5 years of Industrial Engineering experience with at least 3 years of management experience.
- Strong skills in industrial services data collection, root cause analysis, and practical problem solving.
- Demonstrated ability to apply throughput improvement processes.
- Strong knowledge of lean principles.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities and remain focused on critical tasks.
