Duties:
Including but not limited to:
- Operate safely and appropriately in all work situations and environments.
- Update maintenance standard operating procedures (SOPs), ensuring regular review and revision, and implement appropriate training for maintenance personnel.
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities, identify and resolve issues, and maintain accurate maintenance records and logs.
- Perform accurate repair and installation activities with timely completion.
- Monitor equipment and spare parts inventory and place orders for replacements as needed.
- Prioritize and process maintenance work orders by addressing equipment repairs, deficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Apply Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and understand maintenance processes as they relate to food safety.
- Participate in all company-required training.
Skills and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Proven reading, writing, clearly legible handwriting, computer, interpersonal communication, and mathematics skills.
- Experience working in an FDA-regulated processing facility or similar ISO-certified production facility is preferred.
- Prior experience working on pumps, motors, and HVAC systems is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of engineering concepts, including electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
- Competent in problem-solving, team building, planning, and decision-making.
- Excellent communication, organizational, management, and computer skills.
- Demonstrated humility, honesty, integrity, and commitment to safety.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. (34 kg).
- Ability to climb several flights of stairs and work safely at heights.
- Ability to follow Good Manufacturing Practices in all areas of the facility.
Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in an FDA-regulated processing facility or similar ISO-certified production environment is preferred.
- Experience with pumps, motors, and HVAC systems is preferred.
Work Environment:
- Manufacturing and facility environment requiring adherence to safety procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 75 lbs., climbing several flights of stairs, and working safely at heights.
