We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Design Engineer to join our team on an intern or co-op basis. This role is ideal for a current student or recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in the field of design engineering.
Duties:
Including but not limited to:
- Develop and refine 3D CAD models and industrial CAD drawings.
- Work on the design and detailing of welding structures and assemblies.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to support ongoing projects and design tasks.
- Use CAD software such as SolidWorks to create detailed designs and layouts.
- Assist in the preparation of technical documentation and specifications.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- Experience with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks preferred, but not required)
- Basic understanding of industrial CAD and the design of welding structures and assemblies.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Prior experience in a design engineering role, experience through internships, co-op programs, or coursework is acceptable.
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in CAD and industrial design.
- Occasional travel is expected of this position.
