Retail Repair Technician
Reporting to the Retail Manager, the Repair Technicians assist customers, when things have gone wrong. This role is ideal for individuals who like in-person and hands-on repairs and help others get the most from their technology. As a member of Saskatoon’s most referred Apple Authorized Service Provider team, you will review, diagnose, and repair our client’s computers, phones, and tablets.
Responsibilities
· Provide high-quality service and support for our various clients.
- Troubleshooting iMacs, MacBooks, iPads, iPhones, and other technology.
- Completing hardware and software repairs on a variety of technology.
- Assisting with customer inquiries in person, on the phone, and through email.
- Accurately entering data into Horizon’s customer and service management system.
- Complete repairs, updates, and administrative tasks in a timely and accurate fashion.
· General administrative duties and additional tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills and computer and/or electronics repair..
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges and great at problem-solving.
- Able to work in an often fast-paced environment.
- Excellent English written and verbal communication and works well in a team.
- Available to work rotating schedules based on retail store hours, including weekends.
Education and Experience
- High School diploma. Post-secondary technology training is welcomed.
- Training in computer service and prior experience in a service environment is ideal.
- Working knowledge of Apple and/or Windows hardware products.
- Previous hands-on experience repairing Apple devices preferred.
Require Licences and/or Certifications
- Criminal Occurrence Security Check – Must complete a Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check in good standing before the first day of employment.
