SAP Frontend Developer (Contract) – Remote/Hybrid (Canada)

Contract Term: March 15, 2026 – March 31, 2027 (Full-time)
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. CST (Remote candidates must have minimum 4‑hour overlap from 8 a.m.–12 p.m. CST)

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced SAP Frontend Developer to join their SAP Operations & Analytics team. This role focuses on the design, development, and support of SAP MDK mobile applications, SAP Fiori/UI5 solutions, and enhancements within a large enterprise SAP environment.

You will collaborate closely with functional consultants, developers, and other technology teams to deliver secure, scalable, high‑quality SAP solutions.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

SAP MDK & Mobile Development

• Develop mobile applications using SAP MDK on SAP BTP
• Build MDK pages, rules (JavaScript), actions, and offline sync logic
• Integrate OData services with SAP S/4HANA
• Customize and extend MDK applications
• Publish and manage applications via SAP Mobile Services

Frontend & Backend Extensions

• Develop SAP Fiori/UI5 applications and extensions
• Build backend extensions using SAP CAP (Node.js or Java)
• Utilize SAP HANA Cloud (HDI containers, DB artifacts)
• Configure authentication (OAuth, SAML), destinations, and security settings

Operations, Support & Quality

• Provide support and maintenance for SAP applications
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize MDK applications
• Support unit testing and UAT
• Apply patches, upgrades, and fine‑tune SAP components
• Prepare technical documentation, RICEFW artifacts, and architecture diagrams

📌 Mandatory Qualifications

• Post‑secondary education in Computer Technology
• SAP certification in SAP BTP, MDK, or Mobile Services
• 3+ years hands‑on experience with:
  • SAP MDK, BAS, and BTP Mobile Services
  • JavaScript & SAP Fiori design
  • Mobile app deployment (iOS/Android)
  • OData integrations and offline synchronization
• Experience building and deploying Fiori applications

⭐ Preferred Experience

• MDK native device integrations (camera, GPS, barcode scanning, file upload)
• SAP CAP development (Node.js/Java)
• SAP HANA Cloud development
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Experience working in large enterprise SAP environments
