Minimum Qualifications/Must Have

• 8+ years of experience with demonstrated skills building, configuring, deploying and maintaining network hardware and software
• 6+ years of experience in customer support, including problem definition and resolution
  for both network hardware and software
• 6+ years of hands-on network troubleshooting experience
• 5+ years of experience with router and switches and Aruba wireless technologies
• 3+ years of experience with network diagnostic, monitoring and analysis tools (ex.SolarWinds network tools, PRTG etc.)
• 5+ years of experience configuring DNS and DHCP
• 5+ years in-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g. BGP, OSPF)
• 5+ years of extensive experience administering organization LAN/WAN environment, including wireless access points
• 5+ years of extensive network design, installation, and maintenance experience
• 3+ years of experience with access control models and network security
• Solid understanding of network operation systems
• Solid background in network administration and architecture

Education:

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field or equivalent combination of education
• CCNA, CCNP or CCIE certification, a plus

Job Responsibilities:

• Helps identify, prioritize, and resolve critical network related issues that impact business operations
• Assists in the planning, forecasting, implementation, and identification of resource requirements for network systems (including wireless and VoIP) of moderate complexity
• Participates in network planning, network architecture design and engineering.
  Integrates and schematically depicts communication architectures, topologies, hardware, software, transmission and signaling links and protocols into complete network configurations
• Evaluates new products, performs network problem resolution, assists in the
  development and documentation of technical standards and interface applications
• Monitors protocol compatibility, performs system tuning, makes recommendations for improvement
• Applies a broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures to complete assignments of the highest complexity
• Works on assignments where the business and technology problems, opportunities, and solutions may be undefined, many unknowns exist
• Works as subject matter expert and may provide indirect leadership
