Construction Specialist
Support the project manager in all aspects of construction projects, including field crew setups, reviewing construction documents, and preparing deliverables for the client. General oversight and management of survey field crews, CAD Drafters, and Survey Technicians within the construction team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Construction stakeout services, including field setup and quality control of construction stakeout
projects
• Assist in interviewing and onboarding of new field crew staff, CAD Drafters, and Survey Technicians
• Assist in training survey field crews, CAD Drafters, and Survey Technicians on construction stakeout
procedures and protocols
• Review performance of field crews, CAD Drafters, and Survey Technicians, and provide feedback
• Construction stake-out calculations, as-built surveys, and/or sketches
• Grade sheet preparation
• Accountable for plan presentation
• Survey traverse adjustments
• Communicate effectively across all teams and business units
• Assist and work directly with the Assistant Project Manager and Project Manager
• Any other duties as assigned
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in the construction surveying field, including both field and office
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Ability to relate to clients and people at all levels of the organization
• Knowledge of field survey operations, engineering, and the construction industry
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret drawings and the most complex documents.
• Excellent computer skills
