Are you a proactive and experienced leader in maintenance management, ready to take on a challenging role in overseeing a vibrant residential community? We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Superintendent for our Haddonfield location, responsible for the upkeep of 432 apartment units. This position offers the unique advantage of living on-site with an apartment home provided, including most utilities covered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Maintenance Operations: Manage the seamless functionality of all community facilities.
- Maintenance Scheduling: Develop and implement schedules for work orders and preventive maintenance to ensure minimal downtime.
- Maintenance Management Systems: Efficiently track work orders and manage inventory.
- Timely Work Request Completion: Address maintenance needs quickly to enhance resident satisfaction.
- Unit Turnovers: Ensure apartments are ready for new occupants with minimal oversight.
- Regular Inspections: Conduct inspections to identify and mitigate potential maintenance issues.
- Safety Standards Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations during maintenance activities.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Coordinate with leasing teams to ensure smooth apartment showings, move-ins, and move-outs.
- Hands-On Role: Actively participate in maintenance tasks alongside supervisory responsibilities.
What You Bring:

- Technical Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge in plumbing, electrical, and general property maintenance.

Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in maintenance management, leading teams of at least 5 members, preferably in a multi-family residential setting.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, preventive maintenance, and compliance standards.
- Reliable transportation.
- Physical capability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, and perform manual tasks.
