Senior Revenue Accounting Analyst (Remote)

Overview
Mission-driven organization focused on using data and analytics to improve healthcare outcomes. The Revenue Accounting team ensures accurate, timely revenue recognition in compliance with ASC 606, partnering cross-functionally with Sales, Deal Desk, and Legal.

Role Summary
Individual contributor role supporting revenue operations during a high-growth period. Responsible for revenue lifecycle accuracy, contract review, and financial reporting, while contributing to system implementations and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Review customer contracts and determine revenue recognition treatment under ASC 606
• Manage month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Partner with Sales Ops and Deal Desk to ensure accurate contract setup
• Document processes and identify opportunities for automation
• Support financial reporting, disclosures, and SSP analysis
• Analyze large datasets using advanced Excel tools

Qualifications

• 2+ years of revenue accounting experience with strong ASC 606 knowledge
• Advanced Excel skills (e.g., PivotTables, XLOOKUP, Power Query)
• Experience with ERP/CRM systems (e.g., NetSuite, Salesforce); revenue tools a plus
• Strong analytical, detail-oriented, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; public accounting experience preferred
