Corporate Controller

The Corporate Controller is a senior finance leader responsible for global accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls for a large tech-manufacturer company. This role ensures accurate U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting, oversees revenue recognition (ASC 606), COGS and inventory accounting, equity compensation (ASC 718), and SOX compliance, and serves as the primary liaison with external auditors.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close and SEC reporting (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, proxy).

• Oversee global accounting functions including GL, revenue, AR/AP, payroll, and technical accounting.

• Manage revenue recognition, complex customer contracts, inventory/COGS, and margin analysis.

• Oversee accounts receivable, credit, and collections.

• Lead stock-based compensation and equity accounting.

• Drive process improvement and partner with FP&A and executive leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required.

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public company leadership.

• Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting, SOX, ASC 606, and inventory/COGS accounting.

• Semiconductor, manufacturing, or hardware experience preferred; Big Four a plus.
