Location: On-site in Boiling Springs, South Carolina — a friendly, fast-growing community just minutes from Spartanburg and within an hour of Greenville. Relocation is welcomed, and relocation assistance is available.

Note: Must have prior experience in bookkeeping, payroll, and tax preparation (individual, business, and nonprofit). CPA or CPA-candidate status is preferred but not required.

Job Description

  • Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, and nonprofit tax returns.
  • Manage client bookkeeping, monthly reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
  • Process payroll and related filings, including payroll tax, sales tax, and business license returns.
  • Use accounting software such as QuickBooks, Peachtree, and UltraTax (Thomson Reuters).
  • Collaborate closely with clients and team members to deliver timely, accurate work.
  • Support the team during peak seasons with additional hours as needed (no overnight travel).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required).
  • 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or tax preparation.
  • CPA license or active pursuit of CPA or Master’s in Accounting (preferred).
  • Experience with QuickBooks, UltraTax, and related accounting software.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
