Ascension Search Partners has been engaged to identify a strategic and hands-on Vice President of FP&A for a rapidly growing, private equity–backed company in the industrial services sector.
This newly created position will serve as a key finance leader driving forecasting, budgeting, analytics, and business partnership across a highly acquisitive and expanding platform. The VP will collaborate closely with the CFO, executive team, and operating leaders to provide data-driven insights, enhance financial visibility, and support strategic decision-making as the company continues to scale.

The Role

Lead the company’s FP&A function, including budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and strategic financial analysis.

Partner with leadership to evaluate new investments, acquisitions, and integration initiatives.

Drive financial modeling, board reporting, and operational dashboards that enhance visibility and accountability.

Develop a high-performing team and implement tools and processes that enable efficient, data-driven decision making.
The Ideal Candidate

10–15+ years of progressive finance experience, including leadership within a PE-backed or acquisitive middle-market environment.

Proven success building FP&A capabilities in a multi-entity or service-driven business.

Strong modeling, analytics, and communication skills; comfortable working directly with executive leadership and investors.

Experience implementing new systems or tools to improve financial reporting and forecasting.
