Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled General Surgeon to join a dynamic surgical team in Dothan, Alabama. This role offers a balanced work-life schedule, advanced surgical technologies, and a collaborative environment to enhance your professional growth and patient care delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive general surgical care across various procedures such as hernia repairs, cholecystectomies, colon resections, and more.
• Evaluate and treat patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Perform minimally invasive laparoscopic surgeries and utilize robotic technology when indicated.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including primary care physicians and specialists.
• Participate in a 1:4 call schedule, ensuring high standards of patient safety and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a General Surgery residency program.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery.
• Eligible for an unrestricted medical license in Alabama.
• Strong clinical skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.
